Projected use of the FEM Testing Centre in the spring semester of 2025/26

The FEM Testing Centre will be open during the summer semester 2025/26 from February 23, 2026, to June 30, 2026.

The operating model is based on long-established boundaries:

  • 1,500 tests per week → both rooms open
  • 2,900 tests per week → open on weekends

Due to several closed days during the semester, the thresholds were reduced accordingly in the weeks concerned.

🔒 Closed days in the summer semester 2025/26

  • 03.04.2026 (Easter)
  • 06.04.2026 (Easter)
  • 01.05.2026 (Labor Day)
  • 08.05.2026 (Victory Day)
  • 12.05.2026 (Miss Agro)
  • 14.05.2026 (Rector’s Day)

These outages mean a reduction in operating capacity, so the opening model has been adjusted to create stable operating blocks while compensating for the reduced capacity by opening on weekends.

🔎 Character Summer semester 2025/26

The summer semester has a gradually increasing dynamic:

  • March and early April – quieter operation,
  • from the end of March, a stable two-room mode,
  • from May, full operation including weekends,
  • The exam period (May–June) is a continuous, highly busy block.

The maximum load reached 4,310 tests per week, and due to several closed working days, it was necessary to open on weekends to maintain availability.

📅 Pre-semester period

Pre-semester operations for the next academic year will take place on the following dates:

24.08.2026–04.09.2026

The operating model will be determined based on current capacity utilisation, and it is expected to be open every day except weekends.

🧩 Conclusion

Compared to the winter semester, the Summer semester 2025/26 model is more stable, but more challenging in terms of organisation due to the combination of:

  • public holidays,
  • university events,
  • The need to compensate for outages with weekend operations.

From an organisational point of view, it is crucial that operations are divided into clear and coherent blocks, which allows for more efficient planning of pedagogical supervision and technical support.
