Winter semester 2024/25 statistics and preparations for innovation

The FEM Testing Centre has become a key part of the digital testing support at the Faculty of Business and Economics during the winter semester 2024/25. Based on the available statistics, it is evident that testing was carried out at a high intensity and was excellent in optimizing the usability of testing slots.

Key statistics for the winter semester 2024/25:

  • Number of operating days: 88
  • Total number of announced slots: 54 433
  • Total number of registered slots: 31 672
  • Total number of used slots (man-tests): 30 128
  • Average share of used slots: 95%

The graph shows that the Testing Centre’s workload gradually increased during the semester, peaking around the beginning of the exam period. This trend is consistent with the expected seasonal dynamics of the academic calendar.

Innovations and preparations for the summer semester

In order to ensure a more efficient and modern operation of the Testing Centre, the following innovations were introduced during the winter semester:

  • Addition of IoT navigation at the security frame – streamlined routing of students entering the TC.
  • Electronic submission of exemption applications – reduced administrative burden and faster processing.
  • Regular training of services – continuous improvement of the quality of assistance provided in the TC.

The FEM Testing Centre continues to move towards a modern, efficient and secure platform for academic testing. At the same time, the focus is on continuously improving services for students and teachers.

We would like to remind students that it is possible to come and test the response of the safety frame in advance, to reduce their own stress level and not leave any potential complications during the passage to chance. At the same time, please be advised that any exemption requests can be submitted electronically on the FEM Testing Center website.
